Rooted in Indian traditions, it focuses on the flow of prana (life energy) through three primary nadis—Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna. Ida, linked to the left nostril, governs calming and cooling energies, while Pingala, connected to the right nostril, controls warming and energizing forces. The central channel, Sushumna, becomes active when both nostrils flow equally, fostering balance and spiritual awareness.
